There are toilets & handwashing facilities on site, along with drinking water, tea, coffee, fruit juices & squashes.

The Circus Works is currently having a shower fitted, and  also has a separate windowed seating area, with microwave, kettle & fridge.

Unlimited Broadband is  also available, as is the in house blue tooth mini rig sound system.

WHAT TO WEAR

If seeking to learn either ground based or aerial circus, with no prior experience, then it is important that you attend dressed suitably to protect your body, your fellow students, other Circus Works users, the space, & the equipment within it.

You will need to wear tight leggings or thick footless tights.  Shorts or tracksuit bottoms can be worn over these, but should not be overly baggy.

Long sleeved full back coverage leotard, or tight long sleeve top, that is also long in the body.  T shirts and sweatshirts can be worn over, but avoid baggy items, and items with a hood, or dangling string ties.

For aerial hoop and trapeze it is advisable to bring & wear thick socks, and additional pair of leg warmers or neoprene knee supports, to protect the soft behind the knee area.

No rings dangling or large hoop earrings, necklaces or bracelets.  Please tie long hair back.

Anyone wearing clothing with zips or buttons will not be allowed on the aerial equipment.

IN HOUSE SAFETY

WHILST ATTENDING MY CLASSES AT THE CIRCUS WORKS DEVORAN ALL ATTENDEES & I MUST ADHERE TO ALL IN HOUSE HEALTH & SAFETY / COVID 19 POLICIES & PROTOCOLS

I will happily help attendees to successfully navigate said policies & procedures, & make them available on request to students & their families.

On placing any booking you will find a short form which must be completed at point of booking, in order for us to ensure that we can contact you if needs be, & that all the required consents are in place.

The Circus Works makes hand sanitiser & medical grade anti-viral disinfectant spray available during sessions, for between use cleaning.   A high temperature steam cleaner is also used to ensure both equipment & environment safety.

A Covid test will not be required to acess eithe the Circus Works or any of my classes.  As the most up to date data has evidenced a lack of adequate accuracy in both the  Latent Flow and PCR diagnostic tools.  If you wish to provide me with  data around testing results, I will of course be very appreciative, this however will not be compulsory at this time.

As the Circus Works & all it's in house freelancers have their own separate QR codes, for use  in conjunction with the Contact Tracing App.  In order to avoid confusion as to whose code is whose, they are made available via  tablets, phones & laptops, on request, to those that wish to scan.

Please note that I  prefer to obtain all my student's contact details at point of booking, along with their consent, (or if not of age, their parents / guardians consent) to share.  Which means that should a Covid infection occur, I can ensure 100% accuracy in informing everyone who would need to know such had occurred, quickly  & directly.   I feel in light of recent events where the tracing app has failed to locate infected individuals, this low tech strategy would seem more reliable for my small scale sessions.

Proof of Vaccination will not be required to access the Circus Works, or my classes in house.  Obtaining a vaccination is not mandatory, and cannot be made mandatory in a lawful way, without contravening our civil liberties & our human rights.  Should you wish to provide proof, that is wholly your decision, and I will be appreciative of such, but not insistent.

I do however insist that you must follow the Circus Works in house Covid policy & procedures, either as they are explained to you on attendance, or given to you (or your  parent /guardian) on request .  You must not attend if you are unwell with, or if you have any of the symptoms associated with Covid 19, if you have come into known contact with anyone with Covid 19, or Covid 19 like symptoms, for the recommended isolation period.

I request that if you are anxious in any way, if you need to shield yourself, or shield other vulnerable loved ones then do not enter the building, (or attend classes), until you feel it is safe to do so.  I  also request that parents, guardians, lift givers & other visitors who are not students or tutors, do not enter the premises beyond the porch area, should they be picking up or dropping off students. Until restrictions are further lifted.

I advise that should you suffer any of these symptoms, or if you come into contact with a positive Covid case, that you self isolate for 14 days.  I will insist you stay away from classes & the Circus Works until you are clear of illness / symptoms, and until you have completed the required already well known self isolation procedure.

I will of course notify all students & close classes for the required period of quarantine, should we be unfortunate enough to experience contact with Covid in class, or at  the Circus Works.  Thus far due to being vigilant,  careful & considerate, during permitted restricted use I am delighted to inform you that the Circus Works  has remained Covid free to date.
